How the business days calculator works
Pick a start and end date. The calculator walks through every day in the range and counts the ones that are not weekend days and not holidays. By default both the start and end dates are included, which is how most people count "how many working days do I have". Untick them to count only the days between the dates.
Which holidays are excluded?
When the US holiday box is ticked, the 11 US federal holidays are removed using their observed dates: when a holiday falls on a Saturday it is observed on the Friday before, and when it falls on a Sunday it moves to the Monday after. Those holidays are New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Not in the US, or your company closes on other days? Untick the box and type your own days off.
